A Ropeway to Link Hindu and Sikh Pilgrimage Site

In order to boost pilgrimage tourism, Himachal Govt. has take an initiative to tie up with Punjab Govt. to link the revered religious site of Sikh Anandpur Sahib and holy shrine of Hindu religion Naina Devi with a ropeway. With aims to cut the travelling time and cost of the religious tourists, this initiative has been taken. This is one of the six new proposed ropeway projects of Himachal Tourism and Govt. is extremely hopeful to draw attention of maximum tourists to the valley.

The ropeway will enable the pilgrims of Anandpur Sahib to visit Hindu pilgrimage site Naina Devi Temple at much lesser time and cost. It will connect at an aerial distance of just four kilometer, which will definitely save time and money.
