Mount Kinner kailash "abode of Shiva" Located on Indo - Tibet Border where free access to foreigner is restricted there for interline permit should be obtained from the concern authority. For the Hindu and Buddhist to perform a parikrama is to circumambulate a holy place, as temple, lakes and mountains.
Traditionally this parikrama is a long journey on foot. The journey starts up from Thangi the left bank of Satluj over Charang pass to the Baspa valley. Best time of parikrama is Aug on the Hindu day of Janam Ashtami (Birth day of Lord Krishna) however it is possible one or two month earlier in end of June.
