Vashist is a village situated on the left bank of river Beas. Vashishtha's hot water spring is acclaimed for its medicinal power. For a bath a huge number of people gathered here as the water of the spring is considered to cure several disorders. A pyramidal stone temple nearby, which is addressed to Vashishta Muni.
